Job Description:

Alvarez Morris Architectural Studio is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Senior Architectural Project Manager to join our award-winning residential architecture and design firm in Denver. The ideal candidate must be passionate about design, take pride and ownership in your work, possess solid leadership and communication skills, and enjoy a professional team environment. High professional standards and a strong work ethic is a must.

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor or Masters of Architecture;

· 5+ years of experience working with residential architecture and construction documentation creation;

· Strong portfolio;

· Prior experience managing junior and intern architects;

· Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards;

· Exceptional drafting skills and familiarity with design software. Revit and Adobe Suite proficiency required.

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead a team of architects through all phases of design;

· Ability to review and redline construction document sets for junior architects;

· Managing projects from conception to completion;

· Developing design ideas that align with client's needs and lifestyle;

· Delivering high quality, innovative and functional designs;

· Preparing presentations for client meetings; driving forward design phases while managing budget and time;

· Performing a mix of design and administrative duties for project lifecycles;

· Producing detailed construction documents and making any necessary corrections per building department comments through the permitting process;

· Maintaining budgets and timelines;

· Ensuring all works meet specific architectural standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations;

· Making site visits, developing project status reports;

· Cooperation and strong communication skills to coordinate with construction professionals.
