Job Description

Architect / Staff Level Four - The position being offered is one of Career Level IV, Project Manager. In this role, you would be responsible for raising the quality of the firm's multi-family and residential projects and nurturing our client relationships. Proven experience in wood frame and concrete construction mandatory. 

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsibility:

  • Provide team leadership on the production of client’s project documents. Mentor, coach and provide expertise to junior project team members
  • Provide regular updates to the team and project stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate and complete construction documents

2. Communication:

  • Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements. Maintain effective communication with internal project team members

3. Information Management:

  • Manage the flow of critical information from the working document stage through completion
  • Provide guidance and decision-making support as needed
  • Use the FarringtonDesignGroup storing and saving project-related files and documents.

4. Interactions across the Firm:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and key staff across the firm

5. Approach and Attitude:

  • Act as a key point of contact and representative for the project production
  • Juggle multiple tasks with the ability to change direction quickly and gracefully
  • Maintain a can-do attitude, flexible schedule, and composed presence at all times
