Job Description:

Luxury residential interior design and architecture firm is seeking an Interior Designer / Interior Architect Project Manager to collaborate with the firm’s principal and Senior Interior Designer to work on exciting creative projects ranging from Aspen, Malibu, Yellowstone Club, Park City, New York, and beyond.·        

Work in the LA or Aspen office Full Time at 40 hours per week·        

The employee will be responsible for working with the team on the creation and implementation of interior schemes for projects throughout all phases of the design process, from concept through construction, administration to completion, including the coordination of interior architecture, finishes, furnishings, and fabric selections.·        

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, a strong background in design, and be capable of delegating tasks& working efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced, busy, and creative atmosphere.·        

Designers are involved in controlling Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Interior Furnishing.  ·        

Support Project teams with the design process execution &installation·        

Specify design of custom furniture to scale and fabricate with various vendors within lead times·        

Sourcing and selecting furniture, lighting, finishes, new, vintage/antique and custom·        

Coordinate with various trades throughout the project to ensure design execution and all deliverables·        

Create presentation boards for clients, preparation of material, and finish schedules and budgets·        

Assist in project administration: requesting quotes and samples from vendors in a timely fashion. Creating purchase orders and client proposals, preparation for client meetings, requesting CFA’s and fabric reserves, vendor visits, etc·        

Assist in purchasing and procurement·        

Job Responsibilities:

* Exceptionally strong design and graphic abilities

* Work in close collaboration with Project Manager

* Creation of renderings, walk-throughs, and other presentation materials

* Development of elevations, sections, details, and schedules

* Coordination of work with engineers and other consultants

* Construction phase responsibilities, including submittal and RFI reviews and site visits

* Quality Assurance

* Develop technical specifications for sustainability goals

* Sustainability administration – duties for both design and construction contracts spanning from credit inception through documentation, including reports, tracking updates, and submittals.

Job Qualifications:

* 4-7 years of applied professional work experience

* An NAAB accredited professional degree in architecture

* An understanding of how to put a full set of documents together

* Exceptionally strong graphic, written, and verbal communication skills

* Extensive experience with consultant management and coordination between scopes

* Extensive detailing experience

* REVIT literacy is required

* Fluent in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and both hand and digital sketching and rendering techniques

* Working technical knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
