About the Firm

A building is a special thing. With the culmination of tons upon tons of materials and thousands of human work hours, it’s a shame to see any of that tarnished. It disappoints and frustrates us—and most importantly, makes us feel the need to do something about it.

Since 1996, our team develops solutions because we simply want to solve problems and challenges—to make things better and give you confidence in what lies ahead for your building, community, and business.

Job Description

Amento Group has an Architectural Summer Internship available in our Seattle offices for the summer of 2021. Amento Group internships offer an excellent opportunity for students to work under the guidance of an Architect or Architectural Technical Designer and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative work environment. Work hours are flexible within 7 AM – 5 PM business hours. This is a paid internship.

Amento Group is a unique organization that brings together professional Architects (both new and experienced) alongside seasoned Construction Managers and Structural Engineers to provide a holistic solution to Building Enclosure Design and Remediation. An Architectural Intern with Amento Group will develop valuable architectural technical skills while gaining both on-site and studio experience. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of project types with experienced professionals representing multiple aspects of the construction industry and will be rewarded with unique and valuable insight into the realm of Building Enclosure Design.

At Amento Group we enjoy a fun, casual, and healthy office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong collaborative attitude and motivation to learn. Previous exposure to or a desire to learn Building Enclosure Design and the core concepts of Construction Administration are preferred.
