Our leadership in the areas of retail, mixed-use, multi-family housing, hospitality, office, education, sports complexes, the public sector, and interiors enables us to offer smart, dynamic solutions for a wide range of projects. The BIM Manager position requires the full-time assistance of a dedicated and passionate Revit expert to help us achieve the next level of BIM expertise. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and implements the firm's BIM Execution Plan
  • Manages training programs, and potentially helps directly train, staff members with varying levels of current Revit knowledge, from basic to advanced
  • Helps teams implement Revit at start of Production phases (DD and CD), including implementation of building-type-specific Revit Templates
  • Provides typical Revit "helpdesk" functions to answer questions from team members in order to keep projects moving
  • Works with our Project Managers/Project Architects to provide Revit audit and QA services as required
  • Helps manage server related Revit issues in conjunction with our IT manager
  • To the extent feasible, work directly on projects and project content as directed by a Project Manager/Project Architect

Position Requirements

  • Superior knowledge of, and experience with, Revit and related design software, including detailed knowledge of software interfaces and translations between programs
  • Knowledge and experience with using Revit in the context of an architectural firm doing Construction Documents for multi-family residential, retail, and hospitality projects at mid-to-large scales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
